摘要
高校教师评价的一条重要原则是教学与科研相统一。但是,从多个学校的调查结果来看,以下假设并不成立:科研能力强的教师教学效果也很好;教学效果是高校评定优秀教师的主要指标;科研能力强的教师承担重要教学任务。假设没有得到验证,发人深思,需要我们在评价目标的明晰上、评价主体的丰富性上、评价问题的设置上进行再思考与再探索,以促进高校教师评价的逐渐成熟以及教学科研的携手并进。
Unification between research and teaching is an important principle in evaluating teachers in universities.However,surveys from different universities show that the following assumptions are not true:teachers who can teach well possess powerful research abilities;teachers' teaching effectiveness is the primary standard of awarding an excellent teacher;or teachers who do well in both research and teaching will shoulder important teaching tasks.The assumptions above have not been verified.The situation is quite thought-provoking,which requests us to further clear the evaluation objectives,enrich the evaluation subjects and rationalize the evaluation questions so as to make universities' teacher evaluation system more mature and to propel teachers' research and teaching abilities hand in hand.
