摘要
本文从学科教学论视角详细阐述了整体外语教学的核心理念,提出了1)整体内容观:基础外语教育应以人文通识内容为依托,完整体现语言及语言教育本质,服务学生全面发展;2)整体学习观:外语学习是以意义建构为核心并融合多种知识、能力和素养于一体的"学养"发展过程,是学生知、情、行整合转化的过程;3)整体教学观:外语教学要"整体输入""整体输出",以"对话"为代表的整体互动性学习活动为支撑,提高"整进整出"效果。
This paper explicates in detail the three notions which constitute the theoretical underpinning for the holistic approach towards foreign language teaching. They are: 1) Language learning materials for school learners should be literary text-based, rich, deep and wide-ranging in content, fully empowering language education to serve the purpose of whole person development; 2) Language learning is a process of meaning construction which then infiltrates into learners' knowledge, sentiments, attitudes and actions, as well as their final achievements; 3) Language teaching should be centered around context-complete input and context-complete output(rather than isolated sentence drills) while placing a high value on the use of interactive and dialectic activities in class to facilitate both comprehension and expression.
