摘要
为满足新形势下航空业对航空专业学生英语能力的迫切需求,笔者提出基于体裁教学法的航空基础英语"理论+实践"课模式,并在X学院航空工程系开展了实验研究。结合访谈和SPSS 20.0统计软件对学生的课程质量反馈的问卷分析发现,学生对课程各维度的评价良好,体裁分析意识得到了提高,英语应用能力有了明显进步。本研究通过航空英语理论和实践课培养了学生的体裁分析能力,为学生今后的航空专业英语学习打下了良好基础,也为地方本科院校航空类专业学生的EGP与ESP学习的有效衔接提供一定的借鉴。
To help aviation students meet the English language proficiency requirements of the industry,the author presents the“Theory+Practice”Course for Essential English of Aviation with a genre-based approach.The experimental course was implemented in the department of Aeronautical Engineering of ABC College.Students’evaluations of the course were conducted through interviews and questionnaires,which were analyzed with the SPSS Statistics 20 software.The feedback analysis shows that students were satisfied with the course,and that their genre awareness has been enhanced and language competence has improved.In the“Theory+Practice”Course,students’genre analysis ability has been improved,which shall facilitate their future learning of aviation English.It is hoped that this study can be a trial framework for the teaching of EGP and ESP for aviation students of local higher education institutions in China.
