摘要
本文旨在探讨如何结合医学专门用途英语的语言特性,基于"产出导向法"的中国外语教学理论,运用翻转课堂理念将线上自主学习和线下课堂教学有机结合,在课前、课后、课中三个环节充分发挥"学生主体、教师主导"作用,优化医学英语词汇混合式教学。本研究综合运用问卷调查、结构式访谈等研究方法开展数据分析,总结行动方案。本研究亦探讨了运用思维导图梳理词汇知识的内在关系,助力学生学习内化知识,并总结出一套较为成熟的或具有一定推广意义的医学英语词汇混合式教学方案。
This paper endeavors to explore how to effectively blend online self-learning and classroom teaching by applying“flipped classroom”mode based on Production-oriented Approach(POA),taking into account linguistic features of English for Medical Purposes(EMP).This action research also reflects on how teachers should effectively play their leading roles with students as main subjects respectively“before,during and after”classroom teaching by applying both qualitative and quantitative research tools and methods including reflection journals,questionnaires,structured interviews and data analysis.In addition,it illustrates how to produce mind maps to help students absorb knowledge of medical English terminology and understand inherent correlation between medical terms.Furthermore,it also aims to provide useful strategies and suggestions applicable to EMP teaching by illustrating a feasible“blended”teaching scheme of medical English terminology,which could also serve as references for teaching schemes of other EMP courses.
