摘要
长期以来,高校学术劳动力市场的人才选拔过程普遍存在学历歧视与“近亲繁殖”现象,其现实合理性和“学历信号表征科研能力”的直觉性逻辑在信息资源管理学科是否成立,亟待通过实证数据来检验。文章以信号理论为依据,将国内信息资源管理学科高校教师作为研究对象,从教育背景和“近亲繁殖”两方面检验人力资本与社会资本对教师中外文科研产出的影响。研究发现,“金本”的中文产出显著低于“铜博”,但外文产出差异不显著;具有海外博士学位的教师中文产出较低,外文产出较高;海外经历对中外文科研产出均会呈现显著的促进作用;不同程度“近亲繁殖”的教师中文产出显著低于“外来者”,而具有本科学缘对外文产出有显著促进效应。研究结果表明:信息资源管理学科中的“第一学历歧视”现象不具有现实合理性,也为杜绝本校毕业生留校任教的“学术家族体制”提供了现实依据。
For a long time,the universal phenomenon of degree discrimination and academic inbreeding has characterized talent selection in the academic labor market of colleges and universities.The pragmatic rationality of the phenomenon and the intuitive logic that the academic degree signals the scientific research ability in the field of Information Resource Management(IRM)are urgently needed to be tested by empirical data.Based on the signaling theory,this paper conducts a study of IRM faculties in China,and examines the effects of human capital and social capital on the faculties’scientific research achievements listed in Chinese and foreign databases,namely CSSCI and WOS,from the perspective of educational background and academic inbreeding.The study shows that:the CSSCI output of“Jinben”teachers is significantly lower than that of“Tongbo”teachers,but their difference in WOS is not significant;teachers with foreign Ph.D.s have lower productivity in CSSCI,but higher performance in WOS;overseas experience significantly enhances faculty performance in both CSSCI and WOS;the CSSCI output of teachers with different degrees of academic inbreeding is significantly lower than that of“outsiders'”,while obtaining a bachelor’s degree from the institution where he/she works could apparently improve WOS productivity.The results suggest that“first-degree discrimination”in IRM is not realistically justified,and provide empirical evidence for eliminating the“academic family system”in which university graduates stay on campus as teachers.
