摘要
对杨、霍两个译本的评价长期以来局限于学者和评论家之间,较少关注目的语读者的接受性。在中国文化走出去的大的背景下,关注目的语读者的接受性,应该成为当前译介研究的重点问题。文章从目的语读者接受视角出发,借助一些实证研究资料,讨论杨、霍译本的差异所在,进一步分析造成差异的原因,以期引起学界对此问题的关注。
For a long time,the evaluation of Yang’s and Hawkes’translations has been limited among a small group of scholars and critics,and little attention has been paid to the reception of the target readers.With China’s rise,opening up and the Chinese culture increasingly going global,it is high time that we should focus on reception of target readers.From the perspective of target readers’reception theory,this paper tries to explore the different factors between Yang’s and Hawkes’versions that influence the target readers.With the help of some empirical research materials it will further analyze the factors that lead to the differences so as to draw the attention of the academic community on this issue.
