摘要
环境责任行为的研究备受关注,旅游者环境责任行为却未获得足够重视。文章借助Web of Science、Google Scholar、中国知网等检索工具,对旅游者环境责任行为(TERB)相关文献进行梳理,从内涵界定与比较、结构与测量、形成机制模型等3个方面进行了文献述评,研究发现:(1)TERB、旅游者亲环境行为、旅游者环境友好行为、旅游者环保行为、旅游者生态友好行为、旅游者生态文明行为、旅游者可持续行为是等同术语,但这些术语背后的学科立场与理论视角则略有不同;(2)TERB结构维度的划分未达成共识,而国内TERB量表未充分考虑中国本土化背景的特殊性;(3)从研究视角看,整合视角下的TERB形成机制模型愈发受到学界关注,而影响TERB的情境因素并未受到足够重视;(4)基于中国本土文化价值观的TERB影响因素研究缺乏探讨;(5)常居地-旅游地二元环境下TERB形成机制的系统比较研究缺乏探讨;(6)文明旅游行为及其细分行为形成机制研究极少涉及;(7)从研究方法看,定量研究居多,质化研究甚少。在此基础上,文章指出了6个未来研究方向,以期推动TERB研究并指导我国旅游地的旅游者环保实践。
The rapid and steady development of the tourism industry in China has played a significant role in local economic development.However,tourists'activities have a negative impact on the destination environment.Tourists,as the key stakeholder in sustainable tourism management,need to engage in environmentally responsible behavior,which in turn contributes to the sustainable development of tourism.Hence,how to cultivate and guide tourists'environmentally responsible behavior has become an important practical problem in the field of sustainable tourism management. Research on environmentally responsible behavior has attracted wide interest,while research on specifically tourists'environmentally responsible behavior (TERB)has not yet received enoughattention.It was not until recently,within the past ten years,that the concept of studying the environment protection behavior of tourists in tourism scenes began to be mentioned in the tourism management field and attracted more and more attention.By means of Web of Science,Google Scholar and CNKI,this paper reviews the contributions of TERB-related studies.It summarizes three aspects of TERB studies:connotative definition and comparison,structural dimensions,and formation mechanism. Based on domestic and foreign research on this topic,this paper first defines the concept of TERB by analyzing and comparing concepts such as environmentally responsible behavior,pro-environmental behavior,environmentally friendly behavior,environmental protection behavior,ecological behavior, environmentally concerned behavior,environmentally significant behavior and sustainable behavior. Second,it illustrates the development of TERB's assessment tools and related research.Third,from the perspectives of multiple theories and models,such as theory of planned behavior,protection motivation theory,expectancy theory,norm activation model,value-belief-norm theory,environmental emotion- behavior theory,place attachment theory,attitude-context-behavior theory,stimulus-organism-response theory,social capital theory,and the model of goal-directed behavior,it summarizes relevant empirical research and theoretical exploration achievements that use those approaches.On this basis,this paper systematically constructs an integrated framework of the formation mechanism of TERB. The results of this paper indicate that 1)TERB is used interchangeably with other words such as tourists'pro-environmental behavior,tourists'environmentally friendly behavior,tourists' environmental protection behavior,tourists'eco-friendly behavior,tourists'ecological civilization behavior,and tourists'sustainable behavior.However,there are some differences among the disciplinary standpoints and theoretical perspectives of the above terminology.2)Although the scales and structural dimensions of TERB have been developed and examined by the existing studies,there has been no clear consensus on this issue.Measurements from the domestic TERB scales that currently exist indicate that they do not fully take into account the particularity of Chinese localization.3)The integrated model of TERB formation mechanism has attracted wide attention,whereas research on the effects of contextual factors on TERB has been largely ignored.4)The influence of Western values on TERB has attracted wide attention,but there is still a lack of research on the relationship between Chinese cultural values and TERB.5)Systematic comparative research of the TERB formation mechanism in the context of habitual residence and destination remains to be completed.6)The formation mechanism of tourists'civilized tourism behavior and its segmentation behavior are rarely involved.7)Quantitative research of TERB-related studies is centered,whereas there is very little qualitative research. Finally,the study's theoretical contributions and potential future research directions are proposed.
