摘要
随着Richards和Nation对词汇知识层面的理论框架提出,学者开始对词汇的宽度和深度进行了研究,尤其是词汇深度的习得研究。本文以Richards的词汇框架为理论基础指出英语专业学生词汇深度习得可以从以下三个方面获得:教师课堂教学、学生阅读习得及课外工具书辅助。
With the coming of Richards' and Nation' s depth-of-vocabulary-knowledge framework, scholars began to research into lexical breadth and lexical depth, especially the acquisition of lexical depth. This paper discusses the ways of improving students' acquisition ability of lexical depth for English majors : teachers' main role in class, students' acquisition in reading and the help of reference books.
