摘要
在比字句起源问题上,有"结构扩展"说与"词汇替代"说两种不同观点。本文详细描写了比动句演变为比字句的过程,认为"结构扩展"说与语言演变的渐进性原则并不矛盾,可以用来解释比字句的起源。本文区别了"词汇替代"与"词汇兴替",认为"词汇替代"说无法说明比字句的起源问题,但能够用来解释比字句的功能扩展问题。
On the origin of the bi constructions,there are two different theories-the structural extension theory and the lexieal replacement theory.This paper describes in detail the evolution from the bi + Verb construction to the bi construction,holding that the structural extension theory does not contradict the principle of gradual language development and explains the origin of bi construction.It then deals with the differences between the lexical replacement theory and the lexical substitution theory,believing that the former can not interpret the origin of the bi construction,but can illustrate its functional extension.
