摘要
拥有独特理论体系是高等教育研究获取学科地位的前提条件,但学界对什么是高等教育理论尚未形成广泛共识。对高等教育理论的界定早期是一元论的,将其等同于哲学或是变量间的关系,20世纪70年代以后走向多元论。借鉴阿本德与其他学者对理论的定义和分类,高等教育理论在语义维度上存在六种类型,而在对象和范围维度上又可分为内部理论和外部理论两类。跳出碎片化困境,发展整合性高等教育理论,当前已为越来越多的学者所关注。系统构建中国高等教育理论体系,可从深入阐释高等教育中国模式、全面比较中西高等教育传统、充分解读中国高等教育经典著述、积极参与高等教育理论国际对话着手。
Possessing a unique theoretical system is a prerequisite for higher education research to gain discipline status,but the academic community has not yet formed a broad consensus on what higher education theory is.The definition of higher education theory was monistic in the early stage,equating it with philosophy or the relationship between variables,and it became pluralism after the 1970s.Drawing on the definitions and classifications of theories by Abend and other scholars,there are six types of higher education theories in the semantic dimension,which can be divided into internal theories and external theories in the research scope dimensions.More and more scholars propose to get out of the fragmentation dilemma and develop an integrated higher education theory.The systematic construction of the theoretical system of Chinese higher education can start from the in-depth interpretation of the Chinese model of higher education,a comprehensive comparison of Chinese and Western higher education traditions,a full interpretation of Chinese higher education classics,and an active participation in international dialogue on higher education theories.
