摘要
在“互联网+”的智慧教学背景下,本研究依据ESP课程基于需求分析的教学理念及以学习为中心的教学原则,以“新闻英语视听说”为例,构建移动技术赋能的ESP混合式教学模式,探讨该教学模式的可行性及实现路径,并检验其实际效果。课程前后实施的调查问卷及新闻英语听力水平测试表明,移动技术赋能的ESP混合教学模式能够有效提高学生学习兴趣、增强学生自主学习能力、优化学生学习习惯以及提升学生听力水平。本研究利用移动技术赋能ESP课程混合式教学提升了教学成效,也为本科院校外语教师探索自主建设ESP移动信息化平台、搭建移动技术赋能的混合式教学模式提供一定的借鉴。
In the context of intelligent teaching with Internet+,this research,based on need analysis and learning-centered principle which are essential for ESP course design,constructs a blended teaching model empowered by mobile technology in teaching Broadcast News English.The effectiveness of the teaching model is investigated after the implementation of the experimental course.The findings from the statistical analysis of questionnaires on students’learning strategies as well as the pretest and the posttest show that the blended teaching model empowered by mobile technology can improve students’learning motivation,learning strategies and listening competence.This research explores the feasibility for individual ESP teachers to utilize public mobile technology to construct low cost but efficient blended teaching models for specific ESP courses,hopefully shedding some light on further ESP teaching reform.
