摘要
本研究针对中医基础理论中的"阴阳"学说及其主要的核心术语英译情况,对比了常用中医词典、中医术语英译国际标准、《黄帝内经》英译本和英文版资料提出"阴阳"的翻译应注意统一性与多样性并存,而核心术语的翻译应从多样性中寻求统一性,以期推动中医对外更有效传播。
This study focuses on the English translation of main terminologies of the yin-yang theory in Traditional Chinese Medicine( TCM),comparing and analyzing the related English versions in dictionaries,international standards,translations of Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor and the English version of essentials of Chinese Medicine. Both uniformity and diversity should be taken into consideration while translating the term 'YinYang',and the uniformity of core terminologies should be set as a standard for the translations,promoting effective spreading of the TCM knowledge overseas.
