扎根理论视角下老年群体ICT使用异质性研究

A Study of ICT Use Heterogeneity Among Elderly Groups from the Perspective of Grounded Theory

摘要 [目的/意义]探究老年群体信息通讯技术(information and communication technology,ICT)使用行为异质性及其成因,深入了解不同老年群体的行为特征与差异,为推动老年群体积极融入数字社会提供有益参考。[方法/过程]利用扎根理论方法,面向27位老年人进行访谈,借助MAXQDA 2022对访谈内容予以编码,探究老年群体ICT使用行为异质性形成机理,通过对老年群体进行分类,进一步探讨其异质性成因。[结果/结论]动机、机会以及能力因素共同刺激老年人内部产生认知和情感活动,不同的ICT认知会导致积极或消极的差异化情感,产生异质性行为结果;老年群体内部ICT使用行为存在显著异质性,老年群体可进一步划分为数字主动型、数字被动型、数字帮扶型以及数字孤立型;经济资本、社会资本、文化资本、心理资本的差异是老年群体内部产生异质性的深层原因。据此,重点关注老年群体内部的异质性,提出精准化的分层分类施策建议。 [Purpose/Significance]This study explores the heterogeneity and causes of ICT use behavior among the elderly,aiming to deepen the understanding of behavioral characteristics and differences across various elderly groups,and providing valuable insights for promoting their active integration into the digital society.[Meth-od/Process]Using grounded theory,27 elderly individuals were interviewed,and the interview data were coded with MAXQDA 2022 to investigate the mechanisms underlying the heterogeneity of ICT use behaviors in elderly groups.Additionally,the causes of this heterogeneity were further explored by classifying the participants into sub-groups.[Result/Conclusion]Motivational,opportunity,and ability factors collectively influence cognitive and af-fective processes in elderly groups.These factors,in turn,shape distinct ICT-related cognitions that can evoke both positive and negative emotions,leading to heterogeneous behavioral outcomes.Notably,ICT use behaviors among elderly groups exhibit significant variation,with distinct patterns emerging,including digital engagement,digital passivity,digital assistance,and digital isolation.The underlying causes of this heterogeneity are rooted in differ-ences in economic,social,cultural,and psychological capital.Finally,it proposes some targeted,stratified policies for the heterogeneity within elderly groups.
