Narratives of Biopolitics in the age of data-intelligence has expressed the duality:coercion and construction. To understand the duality, mythological images and rational categories have needed. The image“Procrustean Bed”and life algorithms help to understand coercive narratives.Supernatural god image and moralizing technology help to understand constructive narratives. The understanding of the constructive dimension can be situated in the context of the Latour-Achterhuis-Verbeek(LAV)theory.The foundation of the critical theory can be extended by the idea of analyzing data philosophy and its ethical issues in terms of mythical image, but it has a tiny effect on how data ethics can play a forward-looking role.
