摘要
利用中国家庭追踪调查资料,从代际互动视角出发,探讨子女孝道观念与老龄父母自评幸福感之间的复杂关联,以此挖掘孝文化对老龄社会治理的积极价值。研究发现,通过提升子女对老龄父母的情感支持,相互性孝道观念构成保障与提升老龄父母幸福感的正向促进因素,且这种促进效果对相对弱势(如没有退休金)的老龄群体的作用更强。与之相比,子女的权威性孝道观念对老龄父母幸福感没有显著影响,但能促进子女对老龄父母的经济支持。这些结果表明,相互性孝道观念构成家庭层面保障老龄人口生活福祉的文化基础,是当代中国制度化养老保障体系的重要补充。而强调亲子等级差异的权威性孝道观念在提升老龄人口福祉方面的作用则缺乏经验支撑,但其有助于激发子女对父母的孝行支持。据此,文章提出在构建养老、孝老、敬老社会环境的过程中,应该重视孝道不同维度内涵的时代价值差异。
Using data from the China Family Panel Studies,this article explores the complex association between two basic dimensions of filial piety and the subjective well-being of elderly parents from the perspective of intergenerational interaction,as a way to explore the positive value of filial piety for the aging society.It finds that children's reciprocal filial piety is a posi-tive contributor to the well-being of elderly parents by enhancing emotional support,and it has a stronger effect on the relatively disadvantaged such as those who do not have a pension.In contrast,children's authoritarian filial piety has no significant effect on the well-being of parents but promotes children's financial support for aging parents.These results suggest that reciprocal filial piety constitutes an important complement to the institutionalized old-age security system in contemporary China and is the cultural basis for securing the well-being of the elderly population at the family level.In contrast,authoritative filial piety that emphasizes parent-child hierarchical differences does not,although it helps to stimulate children's financial support for their parents.Therefore,in the process of creating a supportive and respectful environment for the aged,attention should be paid to the differences in the contemporary values of different dimensions of filial piety.
