摘要
数字经济是我国推动经济高质量发展、驱动中国式现代化的重要途径。在阐述数字经济赋能中国式现代化理论机理的基础上,文章基于中国2011—2022年省级面板数据,多维度实证考察数字经济赋能中国式现代化的效应及作用机制。研究发现:数字经济发展显著赋能中国式现代化,该结论在一系列稳健性检验后依然成立;内在机制检验证实,促进产业结构升级与推动科技创新是数字经济赋能中国式现代化的重要作用渠道;异质性分析表明,数字经济结构中的数字普惠金融对中国式现代化的积极效应强于数字产业化,西部地区数字经济对中国式现代化的赋能作用更为明显;进一步研究发现,制度环境与数字经济在赋能中国式现代化进程中存在替代效应;数字经济赋能中国式现代化还受到城镇化与环境规制的影响,表现为门槛效应与调节效应。研究有助于解释数字经济时代中国式现代化的动力、机制与效应,为中国式现代化发展提供参考。
Digital economy is an important way for China to promote high-quality economic development and drives Chinese-style modernization.Based on the theoretical mechanism of digital economy empowering Chinese-style modernization,this paper investigates the effect and mechanism of digital economy empowering Chinese-style modernization based on China’s provincial panel data from 2011 to 2022.It is found that the development of the digital economy has significantly empowered China’s modernization,and this conclusion still holds after a series of robustness tests.The internal mechanism test confirms that promoting industrial structure upgrading and promoting scientific and technological innovation is an important channel for digital economy to empower China’s modernization.The heterogeneity analysis shows that the positive effect of digital inclusive finance in the structure of digital economy is stronger than that of digital industrialization,and the role of digital economy in the western region in empowering China’s modernization is more obvious.Further research finds that there are substitution effects of institutional environment and digital economy in empowering China’s modernization process.The digital economy empowers Chinese-style modernization and is also affected by urbanization and environmental regulation,which is manifested as threshold effect and regulatory effect.This research is helpful to explain the dynamics,mechanism and effect of Chinese-style modernization in the era of digital economy,and provides reference for the development of Chinese-style modernization.
