摘要
旅游活动给人们带来的积极影响是旅游研究的重要话题,现有研究探索了旅游活动对家庭、教育、人际关系、身心健康等各个方面的有益作用,但旅游对工作的积极影响还鲜有研究者深入探讨,尤其是旅游频率对人们工作创造力的作用机制尚不清楚。该研究以孵化效应、建构-发展理论、目标定向理论为逻辑基础,通过一项问卷调查及两个情境实验对旅游频率作用于工作创造力的中介过程及边界条件进行了探索。结果表明,较高(vs.较低)的旅游频率会产生较强的旅游者自我发展和工作创造力,旅游者自我发展在旅游频率与工作创造力之间起中介作用。对于学习定向的旅游者,较高的旅游频率会导致较强的旅游者自我发展和工作创造力;但对于绩效定向的旅游者,不同旅游频率对旅游者自我发展和工作创造力的影响则无显著差异。该研究通过刻画旅游频率促进工作创造力的逻辑进路,强化了旅游世界与生活世界的有益联系,验证了旅游活动对工作效率的促进作用。该研究提出了旅游-工作共融的理论观点,对阐明旅游促进工作创造力的社会价值,提升旅游学科地位和旅游业的产业地位具有重要意义。
Most of the current researches adopt a dual perspective,distinguishing the tourism world from the life world,and mainly focus on the impact of tourism activities on the tourism world.There are undoubtedly some limitations to separate the travel world from the life world and only focus on the impact of travel activities on the travel world.Because the travel activities are short fragments of people’s life journey,which means travel world is inseparable from the life world.As the tourism world will inevitably affect the life world,we think that separating the tourism world from the life world limits the comprehensive understanding of tourism functions,weakens the significance of tourism for social development,and is not conducive to the status of tourism disciplines development.Although limited researches find that tourism may have a positive impact on work,but there is no evidence about the basic issues such as the theoretical logic,influencing mechanism,and influence boundary of the tourism world’s effect on the work world.As a result,what is the impact of tourism activities on daily work?Is it negative,still positive,or both?Corresponding theoretical construction and empirical testing need to be carried out.A clear and scientific answer to this question involves the fundamental function and social value of tourism.It plays a fundamental role in determining the social contribution of tourism activities and formulating tourism-related policies.It is an important and new perspective to prove the significance of tourism to mankind.Consequently,discussing the role of tourism activities in work is a basic theoretical issue of tourism.Based on incubation effect,constructive-developmental theory,and goal orientation theory,this study explored the mediation process and boundary conditions of travel frequency on work creativity through a questionnaire survey and two scenario-based experiments.The results show that higher(vs.lower)travel frequency has positive relation with stronger tourist self-development and work creativity,and tourist self-development plays a mediating role between travel frequency and work creativity.When the travel goal is oriented to learning,a higher travel frequency leads to stronger selfdevelopment and work creativity of tourists;however,when the travel goal is oriented to performance,a higher travel frequency has no significant influence on stronger self-development and work creativity.This research provides scientific evidence of how travel frequency improves work creativity,which strengthened the beneficial connection between the travel world and the life world and has effectively verified the positive effect of travel activities on work.This research puts forward a theoretical viewpoint of tourism-work inclusiveness,which provides theoretical guidance for connecting and integrating the travel world and the life world.Above all,this study has significant social value by enhancing the industrial status of tourism and the role of tourism research in social science.
