摘要
技术、地域与组织的多重逻辑与互动机制,解释了美国旧金山湾区高等教育集群崛起的奥秘。技术驱动下,斯坦福大学异军突起,并成为新型大学的引领者,加上大量技术创新需求的涌现,带动了湾区多层次、多类型的高等教育发展,并初步形成集群。湾区地域优势进一步促进了市场创新,并带来大量人才集聚,促使高等教育集群继续扩张升级。为了适应技术创新和地域优势的需求,湾区高等教育发展出新的组织逻辑,表现出供应链、市场化、交互性的典型集群特征,使湾区高等教育集群真正崛起,并推动美国高等教育的升级。
The multiple logical mechanisms of technology, region, and organization explain how the San Francisco Bay Area has developed a higher education cluster development model which is highly interactive with regional industries. Technology driving plays a key role in the early formation of higher education cluster in the Bay Area, and Stanford University which has emerged as a new top-ranked university in the Bay Area has played a leading role, then subsequently the demand for a large number of technological innovations has led to the development of multi-level and multi-type higher education in the Bay Area and the formation of clusters. The regional advantage of coastal city clusters has promoted market innovation and brought a large number of talents, which has further promoted the expansion and upgrading of higher education clusters in the Bay Area. And Bay Area higher education has developed new organizational logic, which shows the typical cluster characteristics of supply chain, marketization, and interactivity, and promoted the upgrading of American higher education.
