A Study on Gender and Education in China:Exploring the Status Quo,Development Trend and the Implications of Relevant Policies

摘要 通过次级数据收集法归纳分析近年来(2014—2019年)CNKI期刊数据库内以性别与教育为主题的文章,其趋势表明,性别与教育研究的热度有增无减,社会性别视角已被广泛应用于教育领域的研究。但学者们对性别因素在构建社会结构中所起作用的理解还有较大差异:一方面,在如何将性别纳入教育之中,即性别教育的方向上仍有重大分歧;另一方面,研究的侧重点,即在不同教育阶段如何看待性别因素所扮演的角色也各有不同见解。在当代中国性别与教育联系如此紧密的状况下,正视并重视性别及其背后的结构性根源,反思与重构政策含义,优化性别与教育及学科建设,丰富性别与教育的理论和实践,将是未来发展趋势和工作的重点。 The article made an analysis of literature with a theme of gender and education in CNKI journals from 2014 to 2019)via the secondary data collection method and found that there were heated academic discussions about it.Grounded theory has become a basic tool to conduct data analysis and theoretic studies,while social gender perspective is widely used in doing educational research.However,scholars have held different opinions on the roles played by gender-related factors in the building of social structure.For instance,apart from disagreeing with each other over how to integrate gender into education,they have given varying integration of the functions played by gender-related factors in different educational stages.In the contemporary China where gender and education is closely interrelated,the development trend and priority of future work shall lie in attaching importance to gender and structural roots behind it,reflecting and reconstructing the implications of relevant policies,improving the disciplinary building of gender and education in the related areas,and enriching the theories and practices of gender and education.
