公共图书馆以MOOC资源推动信息素养教育的实践与启示 被引量:10

Practices and Guidance for Public Libraries in Promoting Information Literacy With MOOC

摘要 MOOC作为一种新型的互联网教学模式,要求用户有较高的数字信息素养。公共图书馆肩负着公民信息素养教育的职责,应将MOOC纳入资源建设的范畴并协助用户有效使用MOOC资源。本文通过分析MOOC在我国的发展趋势,探讨了公共图书馆建设MOOC资源的必要性,调研了现有MOOC资源类型和国内外图书馆开展MOOC的有益实践,提出我国公共图书馆可以通过MOOC嵌入式信息服务、线下辅导、馆员参与,以及自建MOOC资源来推动全民教育,弥合数字时代的教育鸿沟。 As a popular on-line learning mode,Massive Open Online Course(MOOC)emphasizes a high level of digital information literacy from the patrons.Public libraries shoulder the responsibility of civic information literacy education.They should incorporate MOOC into the scope of resource construction and help users effectively use MOOC resources.This paper analyses the trends of MOOC in China and the necessity for public libraries to engage in MOOC.By summarizing different types of MOOC and good practices in China and abroad,this paper suggests that public libraries should provide embedded information service and off-line training with MOOC,get librarians engaged and develop MOOCs resources to bridge the gap of digital literacy among the public.
