摘要
人们运用理论解释、研究问题已成为高等教育研究中一个常见的现象。通过对近十年(2007-2016年)共计106篇高等教育学专业博士论文中的理论运用情况加以分析发现,在运用理论的过程中,存在概念不清及自我解读、理论套用及形式主义、理论依附及情境忽视等问题。理论不是高等教育研究中的必须选择,理论的运用只是为研究者多提供了一个看待问题和解释问题的视角。在运用理论的时候,关键要做到以下三点:第一,明晰理论内涵及特征,理性运用理论;第二,明确研究问题,检视理论与问题间的适切性;第三,建立学术规范,自觉于理论的反思、批判与创新。
It has been a common phenomenon in higher educational research that People use theory to explain and explore problems. Some problems, such as the ambiguous cognition of the theory and the improper expression of the theory, mechanical application and formalism, depending on the Western theory and ignoring the situational nature of theory, are found by conducting an investigation of 106 doctoral dissertations during the past ten years (2007-2016). Theory is not a necessary choice in higher educational researchand theories only provide one more angle of viewing and explaining problems. When applying theories, researchers should consider the following suggestions. First, clear the connotation and characteristics of theory and use it rationally.Second, clear the research problems and examinethe relevance between theory and problems. Third, establish academic norms and focus consciously on reflection, criticism and innovation of the theory.
