摘要
基于最近两次全国人口普查的分县数据,本研究较为全面地考察了人口较少民族聚居区教育发展的现状及其突出问题。实证结果表明:(1)人口较少民族聚居区的教育发展始终与全国平均水平存在差距,而且这种差距并不存在缩小的趋势;(2)人口较少民族聚居区的教育发展是不均衡的,教育成就相对较低的县市同样也是教育不平等现象相对突出的县市;(3)普遍而言,相对于汉族,少数民族不仅平均受教育程度低,而且教育平等程度也比较低;(4)少数民族内部的教育不平等及其与汉族的教育成就差距,是影响人口较少民族聚居区教育不平等最为关键的因素。
Based on county data of the fifth and the sixth national censuses, a study was made to investigate the educational development in concentrated areas of minorities with a small population and the existing problems. The results show that 1 ) in educational development, there is still a gap between these areas and the national average level and there is no trend of gap narrowing; 2) the educational development in these areas is not balanced, and counties weak in educational achievements are the ones having serious problems of educational inequality; 3) compared with Han people, ethnic minorities' average educational level is lower, which leads to lower degree of educational equality; and 4) educational inequality within minorities and the gap in educational achievements compared with Han people are the main factors to lead to educational inequality in these areas.
