摘要
从大学理念的基本概念入手,梳理了中世纪、文艺复兴和宗教改革时期,以及纽曼和洪堡的大学理念,分析了美国大学理念的起源和演变、特别是威斯康星理念的意义,强调各种大学理念都是历史选择,是大学自身发展规律和外界影响的结果,对泛化和简单化回归大学理念提出质疑,探讨了大学理念历史的局限性、开放办学的重要性、分层定位的多样性以及中国特色的必然性。
Based on the basic concepts, it was reviewed on the ideas of university in different periods of mid-century, Renaissance and regional reform, as well as those by John Henry Newman and Wilhelm Von Humboldt. The origin and evolution on the idea of America, especially the significance of Wisconsin Idea, were analyzed. Every kind of the ideas of university was historical choice, and the resuh of the development regular pattern and exteral influence. It was queried for the validity of statement of returing to the idea of university in the way of generalization and simplization. At last, it was discussed on the limitation of history, importance of opening, diversification of differentiation, as well as inevitability of Chinese characteristics.
