摘要
由于文化涉及知识、信仰、艺术、道德、习俗以及人们作为社会成员所获得的一些能力和习惯等等,文化的复杂性不言而喻,由此也造成了翻译中诸多障碍。在翻译过程中,译者很难使译文保持原作的风味。文化意象的错位时有发生。因此,在习语翻译中,译者应该时刻注意原文与译文的文化差异,最恰当地传达原文的文化内涵。
Culture is complex as it includes knowledge, belief, art, morals, custom and any other capabilities and habits acquired by man as a member of society, and culture is unique. In the process of translation, it is always difficult for the translators to maintain the original culture flavor of source language. So it is necessary for the translators to take the cultural connotation into consideration when translating idioms, which are quite possible to cause misinterpretation.
