摘要
可译性与不可译性问题是翻译学的本源性问题,也是翻译研究领域中争论不休的一个理论问题。论文对不可译性的产生历程、不可译性的正面译学价值以及不可译性在中西译学中的差异这三个问题展开探讨。首先梳理了中西译学中不可译性的产生历程,然后指出不可译性既具有实践性的一面,也具有理论性的一面,分析了不可译性在译学中形而下和形而上的价值,最后分析了不可译性在中西译学中的四点差异:来源差异、界定差异、分类差异以及认知差异。
As a pair of theoretical problems that have been debated for a prolonged period,translatability and untranslatability are the fundamental problems for translation studies.This paper discusses the history,the philosophical values of untranslatability and its differences in Chinese and western translation studies,points out that untranslatability has both practical and theoretical values and implications,and analyzes the four dimensions of differences of untranslatability in Chinese and western translation studies,i.e.origin,definition,classification and cognition.
