村寨主义的实证及意义——哈尼族的个案研究 被引量:33

摘要 村寨主义是以村寨利益为最高原则来组成和维系村寨社会文化关系并运行村寨日常生活的社会文化制度。从哈尼族村寨个案可以发现村寨主义的村寨有明确的村寨物理空间标识,并且通过系统的村寨性宗教祭祀活动来建构和强化村寨空间神圣性,村民的集体行动总是遵循以村寨为边界的内外有别的文化逻辑的。以村寨主义范式来审视作为周边的中国西南乡村社会,将有助于深入理解西南地区大杂居、小聚居的民族分布格局。维护村寨空间神圣性的实践也表明了斯科特断言山地民族天然具有'逃离国家'倾向的虚妄。村寨主义影响下的村民在现代发展中所面临的机遇和困境都与其社会文化特征有关。 Villagism is a socio-cultural system which takes the village’s interest as the highest principle in forming and maintaining its social and cultural relationship and managing its daily life. A case study of Hani villages shows that what villagism means by'village'has a definite spatial demarcation. The spatial sacredness of the village is established and reinforced by systematic sacrificial ceremony. The collective action of the villagers always follows the cultural logic which draws a distinction between the inside and the outside of the village. Using the paradigm of villagism to examine the peripheral rural society of south-western China can deepen our understanding of China’s ethnic group distribution pattern in this area. The practice of maintaining the spatial sacredness of the village also falsifies James C. Scott’s postulate that mountainous people have the natural tendency of'escaping the state'. Against the backdrop of villagism,what opportunities and difficulties the villagers have in their modern development are related to their social and cultural characteristics.
