摘要
白先勇的短篇小说集《台北人》描写了1949年从大陆迁居中国台湾地区的移民群体,表现了他们离散的命运以及对故土的回忆。作为“外省人”,白先勇对这一群体身份认同的焦虑与文化乡愁感同身受,通过台北叙事、想象建构了表达空间,为这群流亡在台北的外省人谱写了一曲哀歌。
Pai Hsien-yung’s short story collection Taipei People(Taibei Ren)depicts the group of immigrants who moved from China's Mainland to Taiwan in 1949,portraying their diasporic fate and nostalgic memories of their homeland.As a“mainlander”(waishengren),Pai Hsien-yung deeply identifies with this group’s identity anxiety and cultural nostalgia.Through his narrative and imaginative construction of Taipei,he creates an expressive space,composing an elegy for these mainlanders exiled in Taipei.
