摘要
粤剧文化始于佛山,历史久远。粤剧文化是粤港澳大湾区民众的共同精神文化。“人文湾区”建设背景下,研究粤剧文化的英译具有重要意义。该文从生态翻译学视角出发,分析了译者所处的翻译生态环境,通过文献研究法从语言维、文化维和交际维分别对《中国佛山粤剧文化(双语版)》中案例进行了研究,探讨佛山粤剧文化英译方法。研究表明:在语言维,译者主要采用直译;在文化维,译者主要采用意译、音译加释译、分译加增译;在交际维,译者主要采用仿译、改译、意译。在翻译实践中,译者需立足佛山粤剧文化的整体翻译生态,实施三维度协同分析,以更好地传播佛山粤剧文化,助力粤港澳大湾区“人文湾区”建设。
Cantonese opera culture originated from Foshan with a long history,which is the common spiritual culture for people in the Greater Bay Area.Under the background of the construction of"Humanistic Bay Area",it is of great significance to study the C-E translation of the Cantonese opera culture.Based on Eco-translatology,this paper analyzes the translational eco-environment where translators live.Through the literature research method,it studies cases in Cantonese Opera of Foshan China(bilingual version)from the linguistic,cultural,and communicative dimensions respectively,aiming to explore the C-E translation methods of Foshan Cantonese opera culture.It can be found that:(1)at the linguistic dimension,translator mainly adopts literal translation;(2)at the cultural dimension,translator primarily employs free translation,transliteration plus paraphrasing,division plus addition;(3)at the communicative dimension,imitation,variation and free translation are mostly used.In translation practice,translators need to base themselves on the entire translation ecosystem of Foshan Cantonese opera culture and conduct a three-dimensional collaborative analysis,in order to better spread Foshan Cantonese opera culture and contribute to the construction of"Humanistic Bay Area".
