摘要
[目的/意义]作为搜索引擎未来发展的重要趋势,对话式搜索引擎为用户信息检索过程带来全新的人智交互体验。分析用户使用对话式搜索引擎和传统搜索引擎时的检索体验差异并归纳造成差异的因素,有助于开展对话式搜索引擎的优化迭代与教育普及,并推动信息检索领域用户信息行为研究的发展。[方法/过程]采用任务驱动的实验设计,以任务复杂度为梯度设置事实型、解释型、探索型三类任务情境,在每个情境下分别对比两类搜索引擎的用户体验。受试者使用Bing和Bing Copilot完成检索任务并参与事后访谈。[结果/结论]随着任务类型越复杂,相比于传统搜索引擎,用户使用对话式搜索引擎时的提问轮次、提问信息项个数、感知交互性和感知喜爱度等显著增加,但同时回答要点数、回答长度回答相似度、感知有用性也更低。用户更愿意使用交互便利的对话式搜索引擎满足自己个性化的信息获取和知识增长需求,但也存在一系列信息素养不足导致的问题。
[Purpose/significance]As an important trend in the development of search engines,conversational search engines bring a new human-intelligence interactive experience to the user information retrieval process.Analyzing the differences in the retrieval experience of users when using conversational search engines and traditional search engines and summarizing the factors that cause the differences will help to urge the development and spreading of conversational search engines,and promote the development of research on user information behavior in the field of information retrieval.[Method/process]This study adopts a task-driven experimental method.With task complexity as the gradient,three types of task situations,namely factual,explanatory and exploratory ones,are set up.Under each situation,the user experiences of the two types of search engines are compared respectively.The subjects use Bing and Bing Copilot to complete the retrieval tasks and participate in post-task interviews.[Result/conclusion]As the task types become more complex,compared with traditional search engines,the number of questioning rounds,the number of questioning information items,perceived interactivity,and perceived likability significantly increase when users use conversational search engines.However,at the same time,the number of answer points,the length of answers,the similarity of answers,and the perceived usefulness are also lower.Users are more willing to use the convenient interactive conversational search engines to meet their personalized information ac‐quisition and knowledge growth needs,but there are also a series of problems caused by insufficient information literacy.
