摘要
外来词是与异族文化交流的产物,其汉语化是汉语史研究的焦点。笔者重读高名凯、刘正埮(1958)《现代汉语外来词研究》,由术语的客观性,思考调整术语的可能性。笔者早期以音译词为观察对象,关注外来词进入汉语的历程;近年探索“汉语化之后的发展”。文章以“骆驼”“懡■”为例,观察音译词进入汉语之后的发展,对照佛典与中土文献,梳理藏经“懡■”“骆驼”两类词,发现汉语化的外来词,向着意义相通的联绵词族靠拢。如是,不但印证了汉语强大的容摄力和改造力,也突破较封闭的联绵词体系,为联绵词发展另辟一蹊径。联绵词、重叠形式或许是外来词深度汉语化的表现。
Loanwords are the product of intercultural exchanges,and their sinicization is the focus of study of Chinese history.We reread Gao Mingkai and Liu Zhengchen's(1958)"Research on Loanwords in Modern Chinese"',and consider the possibility of adjusting terminology based on the objectivity of terminology.First,transliterated words and the process of foreign words entering Chinese are taken as the object of observation.Then,we focus on and the"development after sinicization",in particular the development of transliterated words after entering Chinese,taking"Camel"and"懡■"as examples.By comparing Buddhist scriptures and Chinese literatures and sorting out the two types of words"懡■"and"Camel"in the Tibetan scriptures,we found that the sinicized foreign words are moving closer to the family of words with the same meaning.This not only confirms the strong tolerance and transformation of the Chinese language,also it breaks through the relatively closed system of Lianmian words and opens up another path for the development of Lianmian words.Lianmian words and overlapping forms may be the manifestation of the deep sinicization of foreign words.
