摘要
人工智能作为新一轮技术变革的重要驱动力,在推进企业智能化、自动化和信息化的同时,势必也会对制造业企业绿色创新发起产生重要影响。本文以中国工业机器人数据和企业绿色专利为样本,实证检验了人工智能应用对制造业企业绿色创新的影响及作用机制。研究发现:人工智能应用有助于促进制造业企业绿色创新。作用机制表明,成本节约效应、知识溢出效应和人力资本效应在人工智能对制造业企业绿色创新的影响关系中发挥了部分中介作用。进一步研究发现,人工智能应用对制造业企业绿色创新的正向关系在东、中部地区、非重污染和低财政激励企业组表现的更加明显。本文研究结论既丰富了微观层面人工智能的绿色创新效应的文献,也能为政府和企业如何改善绿色创新提供启示。
Artificial intelligence(AI),as an important driving force of the new round of technological change,will inevitably also have a significant impact on green innovation in manufacturing firms while promoting corporate intelligence,automation and informationization.This paper empirically examines the influence and action mechanism of AI application on corporate green innovation with the industrial robots data and firms green patents in China.The research shows that AI application helps to promote manufacturing firms green innovation.The action mechanism shows that cost saving,knowledge spillover,and human capital effect play a partial mediating role between AI application and manufacturing firm green innovation.Further research shows that the promotion effect of AI application on manufacturing firms green innovation is more obvious in the east central region,non-heavily polluted and low financial incentive firm groups.The findings of this paper both enrich the literature on the micro green innovation effects of AI and provide insights into how governments and firms can improve green innovation.
