吐蕃僧相钵阐布的藏文对译应该是■,而非■(大沙门),钵阐布可能是贝吉允丹(■)的专称。■可简称为■,是吐蕃僧相的称号,但并非吐蕃僧相的专称,其他僧人也有此称号。吐蕃僧相有贝吉允丹和娘·定埃增(■)二人,两人都曾到敦煌组织抄经礼佛等活动。吐蕃僧相主要负责佛教事务管理和主持唐蕃之间的和好会盟,对世俗政务参与相对有限。羽077号《本阐哺(钵阐布)为宰相就灵龛祈愿文》反映了钵阐布贝吉允丹在敦煌以瓜州节度使衙署名义为由吐蕃宰相担任的东道节度使、侍中、瓜州节度使等人礼佛祈福,侍中为大尚论喻寒波(■),为东道节度使副手。羽077号中《某判官为国相尚乞心儿祈愿文》(拟)出现的国相尚乞心儿为当时(822年前后)吐蕃首席大相,并不是786年占领敦煌的吐蕃将领。
Po Chan-bu as an official post during Tubo period,the title in Tibetan should be dpal chen po(Wylie)instead of ban de chen po(Wylie).Po Chan-bu had to be a designated name to dpal gyi yon tan(Wylie).In some cases,Ban de chen po and ban chen po were interchangeably used as general title for monks in Tubo.Tibetan monk dpal gyi yon tan and nyang ting nge’dzin went to Dunhuang to organize activities such as copying sutra and worshiping Buddha,apparently,the Tibetan monks were mainly responsible for the management of religious affairs and the reconciliation between Tang and Tubo,and had relatively limited participation in secular government affairs.Yu 077,“Ben Chan-pu(Po Chan-bu)Praying for the Prime Minister on the Spiritual Tabernacle”reflects that Po Chan-budpal gyi yon tanin Dunhuang in the name of the Guazhou Governor’s office for the Prime Minister of Tubo as the host governor,Shizhong,Guazhou governor and other people to pray for Buddha,and the governor is Yu Hanbo,the deputy of the host governor.In Yu 077,“A Judge for the State Minister Shang Qixin’er Pray Text”(proposed)appeared the state minister Shang Qixin’er,was the chief minister of Tubo at that time(around 822),not the Tubo general who occupied Dunhuang in 786.
