摘要
在前人研究的基础上,运用认知语言学的相关理论并结合大规模语料库,发现反义方位复合词“前后”“左右”“上下”都可以表示对时点和时段的估量,但“上下”的这种用法较少见;“前后”“上下”还都可以表示顺序、事件过程或事物存在的时间范围,而“左右”则不可以。这些差异与其自身的基本义和象似性、不对称性等有关。
Based on previous studies,this article uses the relevant theories of cognitive linguistics and combines with a large-scale corpus to find that the antonymous positional compound words“qianhou”,“zuoyou”,and“shangxia”can present the estimation of time point and time period,but this usage of“shangxia”is rare.Both“qianhou and shangxia”can also denote the sequence,the course of events or the time range in which things exist,while“zuoy-ou” cannot.These differences are related to their own basic meanings,iconicity,asymmetry and so on.
