摘要
习近平总书记在中央人大工作会议上指出,要继续推进全过程人民民主建设,把人民当家作主具体地、现实地体现到党治国理政的政策措施上来,具体地、现实地体现到党和国家机关各个方面各个层级工作上来,具体地、现实地体现到实现人民对美好生活向往的工作上来。人民代表大会制度是实现我国全过程人民民主的重要制度载体,近年来进行了许多新的探索和实践,包括发挥立法联系点作用、探索民生实事票决制、推进代表联络站建设、完善代表述职制度、加强议案建议办理工作等,努力把全过程人民民主落实在履职各方面各环节全过程。
General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out at the work meeting of the National People’s Congress that it’s necessary to continue to promote the construction of whole-process people’s democracy and to concretely and realistically embody people’s ownership of the country through policies and measures of the party’s governance of the country,through the work of all aspects of the party and state organs at all levels,and through the work of realizing the people’s yearning for a better life.The system of People’s Congress is an important institutional carrier for the realization of the whole-process people’s democracy.In recent years,new explorations and practices have been carried out,including the role of legislative contact points,exploring the voting system for people’s livelihood,improving representative debriefing system,strengthening the handling of bills and suggestions,and so on,which strive to implement the people's democracy throughout the whole process in all aspects of the performance of duties.
