摘要
单士元的学术成就与故宫密不可分,在此他逐渐成长为明清史学家、档案学家和建筑学家,尤专注于档案工作实践与基础理论研究。在档案工作实践方面,他参与了故宫博物院自创立以后70余年的许多重要活动,如接收并整理军机处档案、整理内阁大库档案、编辑出版明清档案、抢救孔府档案、研究样式雷图档等。在档案基础理论方面,他重视档案的史料价值,创造性地提出建立档案目录学的构想,在档案释名工作中丰富档案目录学理论,成为中国档案目录学的创始人,为中国档案学的创立与发展作出了突出贡献。
Shan Shiyuan’s academic achievements are closely related to the Palace Museum.He gradually grew into a historian,archivist and architect of Ming and Qing Dynasties here,especially focusing on archival practices and basic theoretical research.In terms of archival practices,he participated in many important activities of the Palace Museum in more than 70 years after its establishment,such as receiving and arranging archives of the Grand Council,arranging archives of the Grand Secretariat,editing and publishing archives of the Ming and Qing Dynasties,rescuing the archives in residence of Confucius descendants,and studying the manuscripts of Yangshi Lei.In the basic theory of archives,he attached importance to the historical value of archives,creatively proposed the idea of establishing archival bibliography,enriched its theory in exegesis,then became the founder of Chinese archival bibliography,and made outstanding contributions to the establishment and development of Chinese archival science.
