摘要院士跨界高端访谈栏目旨在探索面向未来的科技人文问题。本期访谈中国科学院院士、北京石墨烯研究院院长刘忠范教授,围绕石墨烯、科学文化与学术评价等问题而展开。刘忠范教授认为,回顾人类社会的发展史,碳材料一直伴随着人类文明的脚步,石墨烯有望成就下一个碳材料产业,但当前石墨烯材料的研发现状与理想还相差甚远,制备决定未来,只有把石墨烯材料做到极致才能有望形成真正的产业。从这一点出发,科学研究需要基于好奇心的科学精神,做产业需要工匠精神。不追求工匠精神,就不可能解决技术领域的“卡脖子”问题,而工匠精神、科学精神和文化自信恰恰都是不少中国人所欠缺的。近年来,学术界面临着“破五唯”困境,其深层原因在于学术界评价体系的过度行政化。学术共同体应该具有一定的独立性,将学术评价权利回归学术共同体,树立文化自信、培养科学精神,这样才能真正保证学术和科学的健康发展,中国才能早日成为世界科学中心。 The Column of Transdisciplinary Top Interview of Academicians aims to explore future-oriented issues in science,technology,and humanities.This interview with Professor Liu Zhongfan,academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences and president of Beijing Graphene Institute,focuses on issues such as graphene,scientific culture,and academic evaluation.Professor Liu believes that in retrospect of the development of mankind,carbon materials have been accompanied by the footsteps of human civilization,and graphene is expected to become the next carbon material.However,the actual graphene material is far from ideal,the preparation of which determines the future.Only by making the graphene material to the extreme can it be expected to form a real industry.From this point of view,scientific research requires a scientific spirit based on curiosity,while industry requires craftsman spirit.Without pursuing craftsman spirit,it is impossible to solve the“being hit in the throat”problem in the field of technology.Besides,craftsman spirit,scientific spirit,and cultural self-confidence are exactly what some Chinese lack.In recent years,the academic circles are faced with the dilemma of“anti-five-only”.The deep-seated reason lies in the problem of over-administrative evaluation in academic circles.The academic community should have certain independence,academic power should return to the academic circles,and cultural self-confidence and scientific spirit should be cultivated,so as to truly ensure the healthy development of academics and science,and make China the center of world science in the future.
