摘要
基于2015年中国综合社会调查(CGSS)数据,运用logit模型和调节效应检验模型,从隔代照料视角,考察了农村代际居住关系转变过程中子代家庭规模、年龄结构的影响效应。结果显示,子代家庭规模扩大会进一步解构其与亲代较为紧密的居住关系;子代家庭是二胎或多子家庭,其与亲代紧密居住的概率更小;子代家庭年龄结构方面,拥有未成年孩子的子代与亲代保持紧密居住的倾向性更强,子代孩子成年后,其与亲代形成紧密型居住关系的概率明显降低;选取性开放态度作为工具变量进行稳健性检验后,结论依然成立。进一步研究发现,子代家庭结构对其与亲代居住关系的影响存在亲代经济独立的强化作用;中部地区农村子代未成年孩子及数量对其与亲代居住关系影响的边际效应高于东部地区,东部地区高于西部地区;西部农村子代成年孩子数量会显著影响其与亲代的居住关系。
Based on the data of the China Comprehensive Social Survey(CGSS),the paper estimates the effect of the family structure of the adult children and the age of grandchildren on the residential relationship with parents in the transformation of rural inter-generational relations by logit model and the moderating effect test model from the perspective of grandparents’care of grandchildren in the rural areas.The results show that the expansion of the offspring family further deconstruct the close living relations with parent,i.e.the adult children with 2 or more children tend to live apart from their parents.On the contrast,the families with minor children have obvious tendency to live closely with their parents to make the best use of parents care of the under age children while the grandchildren’s getting adult reduces significantly the possibilities of living with parents.the open attitude to children’s gender is regarded as the instrumental variable and the robustness test support the the conclusion too.Further research finds that the influence of the family structure of the offspring on the residential relationship with their elderly parents is strengthened effectively by the economic independence of the parents;the marginal effect of the minor children and their number of the offspring on the residential relationship with the old parents in the rural areas of the central region is higher than that in the eastern region,and the latter is higher than that in the western region.However,the number of adult children of the family effectively shapes the offspring’s residential relationship with the old parents in the western rural areas.
