摘要
近年来,随着中西翻译理论对话的加深,翻译理论术语互译的问题显得越发重要。然而,相关讨论多聚焦西方译论术语汉译,对本土理论术语外译关注较少。本文以变译理论的核心术语“变译”的英译为例,探析本土译论术语外译问题。通过分析“变译”现有的5种英译名,结合对“变译”概念的考辨,指出现有5种英译名存在的问题,进而提出“trans-variation”作为新译名。
The past few years have witnessed an increasing exchange of ideas and concepts between Chinese and western translation theories.Yet the outward translation of Chinese translation theories and terms has been far from satisfactory.The English translation of uBianyin,the key term for Trans-variation Theory,is a typical example.By analyzing the five English terms for,as well as the semantic development of uBianyin,the article has proposed“trans-variation”as a replacement.
