摘要
传统的逻辑实证主义认为科学理解的语用性与科学客观性相冲突。随着有关科学理解的哲学研究的发展,这个问题的基础重要性日渐凸显出来。亨克·雷格将道格拉斯使用分类学方法形成的有关客观性的观点,运用到解决科学理解语用性与科学客观性之间冲突的问题上,取得了一定的进展。不过雷格的方法会导致相对主义,没有真正的解决问题。斯蒂芬·格林为该问题提供了一个新的角度。尝试从科学理解自身寻找新的客观性基础,推理得出"基础硬件"和"理智性格"可以成为容纳科学理解语用性的新客观性基础。
Traditional logical positivism believes that the pragmatics of scientific understanding conflict with scientific objectivity. With the development of philosophical research on scientific understanding, the fundamental importance of this problem has become increasingly prominent. Heather Douglas used taxonomical methods to form a view of objectivity. Henk W. de Regt applied this to solve the conflict between the pragmatism of scientific understanding and the objectivity of science, and made some progress. But Regt’s approach leads to relativism and does not really solve the problem. Stephen Grimm provided a new perspective on the problem. Trying to find a new basis for objectivity from scientific understanding, it is concluded that "basic hardware" and "intellectual character" can be the new objective basis for accommodating the pragmatics of scientific understanding.
