摘要
翻译研究和翻译实务的源动力总是来自于社会发展需要和现实问题导向。鉴于此,当"绿色发展"成为生态文明新时代主旋律的时候,翻译学界,特别是应用翻译学界思考和规划"绿色翻译"的议题即可谓恰逢其时了。本文拟刍议选择"绿色翻译"研究和专业方向的背景和动因,提出"绿色翻译"的内涵和发展,例述怎样践行"绿色翻译"问题,并不揣冒昧地分享开设"绿色翻译"专业方向的若干思考。文章指出,适应"绿色发展"、选择"绿色翻译",这既是生态翻译学在实践操作层面上"接地气"的典型标志,又是生态文明新时代下生态翻译学"实指"新发展的有力"抓手",也为服务于生态文明建设的相应翻译专业设置奠定了基础。
Translation research and translation practice are always motivated by practical needs of social development and the orientation of exiting problem-solving. With that in mind,it might be the right time for scholars and translators in the circle of translation studies to consider and plan the development of green translation in the context of the"green development"that has become the main theme of the era of eco-civilization construction in China. The objectives of this paper are to discuss the issues of WHY( background situations),WHAT( connotations and interpretations),and HOW( translation performance) of developing the green translation. A proposal of starting up green translation as a special orientation in Translation Studies is finally put forward before the conclusion of the discussion.
