摘要
本文阐述了公共艺术以及公共艺术教育在中国的发展现状,肯定了中国高等艺术院校在公共艺术发展中起到的重要作用;探讨了对于公共艺术的认知是如何在近二十年的实践过程中发生转变的,指出了公共艺术的真正价值在于用艺术语言和形式解决公共问题。文章阐述了上海大学上海美术学院的公共艺术学科的构建和发展历程,分析了在公共艺术发展的潮流下,美术教育发展的新机遇以及公共艺术专业教育的特色,并对中国公共艺术专业教育的问题提出了自己的思考与建议。
This paper introduces the status quo of the public art and the public art education in China to affirm the significance of the Chinese higher arts academies in the public art development, and to elaborate how the recognition of the public art has changed in the practice of the last two decades. It concludes the true value of the public art is to solve the public problems in artistic languages and forms. The paper takes the Shanghai University Shanghai Academy of Arts as an example to explain its construction and cultivation of the public art discipline. With an analysis of the new opportunity for the art education development in the tide of the vigorous public art and the features of the public art major, a further thinking and feasible suggestions to the public art major education in China are offered.
