摘要
金庸的小说语言复杂、富含中国传统文化知识,文中还夹杂着大量的诗词、四字成语和民间俗语,给译者带来很大挑战。但是,译者们从来没有放弃过对其翻译的尝试,且颇有成就。本文以金庸小说的四个英译版本为例,分析小说中人名与绰号的英译,为金庸小说及武侠小说的人名、绰号英译贡献一份微薄之力。
Louis Cha’s novels are rich in traditional Chinese culture,and contain many poems,four-character idioms and folk common sayings,which give translators great challenge.However,translators have never give up their attempt,and achieve great accomplishments.This paper analyzes the translation of the names and nicknames of Louis Cha’novels,attempting to make a small effort to the translation of Louis Cha’novels and other martial arts novels.
