介绍了全球甜叶菊的发展历史、甜菊糖苷等产品的提取方法、作为糖源的机理、安全性、各国或地区准许使用与合法地位、甜叶菊产量、市场额度以及甜叶菊产业发展的未来展望。
The stevia development was reviewed, from following aspects： developmental history of stevia, extraction method of stevia and its derivatives, mechanism as sugar source, safety, permitted use with legal status in different countries or regions, stevia production output and the market quota, and the future prospect of stevia development.
