摘要
本文以莫言的《丰乳肥臀》及其英译本为语料,建立原文与译文对照的汉英双语平行语料库,从不同类别的本源概念探讨莫言小说文本中本源概念翻译模式。研究发现,莫言小说中不同类别本源概念的翻译模式存在一定差别,并且整个文本中相应概念的翻译模式呈现出"直译>意译>换译>省略"的分布倾向。这可以为今后小说文本中本源概念的翻译研究和实践提供一定启示。
This paper aims to explore the patterns for translating alien sources in Mo Yan＇s fiction with a focus on a systematic analysis from the categories of alien sources in “Feng Ru Fei Tun” and its English version with its Chinese-English bilingual parallel cor- pus as the research approach. The research shows that different categories of alien sources have different patterns for translating, and that the patterns including trans-coding, paraphrasing, substitution and deletion are observed for the whole fictional text. The findings will provide some enlightenment to the translation of alien sources in fictional texts.
