摘要
本文将社会学中"社会资本"的概念引入企业社会责任履行的研究之中,基于2009～2011年间A股上市公司的面板数据,重点考察社会资本以及制度环境在企业履行社会责任中的作用机制。结果表明制度环境的改善总体来说对企业社会责任的履行具有重要的推动作用。进一步的研究发现制度环境改善对企业社会责任履行的推进需要相应地区社会资本的支撑。本文的研究从宏观视角为上市公司社会责任履行提供了一个可信的解释,并且丰富了社会资本以及制度环境在企业社会责任领域的研究内容。
The sociological concept of ＂social capital＂ is introduced to the study of corporate social responsi-bility field in this paper, using the data from A-share listed companies in china from 2009 to 2011, we focus on the impact of social capital and institutional environment on corporate social responsibility performance. The results show that the perfecting of institutional environment pushes forward the corporate social responsibility perform- ance. Further study shows that this pushing forward effect is supported by the district social capital. This research provides a plausible explanation on corporate social responsibility from a macroscopic perspective, and enriches the research of social capital and institutional environment in the context of corporate social responsibility.
