摘要
多义性是观察语义演变的窗口。古汉语副词"方"有多个义项,其中"正好"是原型义,"刚刚/才、正在、仅仅、几乎、马上、P才Q"是衍生义。"方"遵循如下引申路径:1)"正好→仅仅→P才Q";2)"正好→同时→刚刚/才、正在、(当即→)即将"。衍生义的实现是篇章用法固化的结果,"方"的语义演变具有共性意义。
The semantic change of the adverb fang（方） in Old Chinese can be observed from the perspective of polysemy, fang has several senses in Old Chinese, such as ＂exactly, only, approximately, be ＋ -ing, just now, immediate future＂ etc, which were derived from the prototypical sense ＂just, exactly＂. These derivational senses were resulted from the semanticization of textual situation. The semantic change of fang follows the model of ＂exactly→only→only if P, Q＂, as well as ＂exactly →simultaneous→be ＋ -ing, just now, immediate future＂, both of which reflect a cross-linguistic universal semantic change path.
