摘要
Many Vietnamese words are borrowed from Chinese. What effects will those loan words bring to Vietnamese students in their learning of Chinese and how should teachers employ those factors to achieve their best teaching effect﹖ The paper tries to discuss the issues with the help of theories of comparative linguistics and the second language teaching.
