目前世界合成香兰素的产量为６０００ｔ，需求量为９０００～１００００ｔ。我国的香兰素大部分出口，受国际市场影响较大，同时也受原辅料市场的制约。随着国内外新的香兰素生产厂家的投产和老企业扩大生产能力，香兰素不久将从供不应求转为供大于求。
