摘要 本文综合应用语言测试、二语习得及语料库语言学等领域的研究成果,结合计算机和网络的特点,提出一个具有远程教育特色的外语教学模式:基于语料库的适应性学习模式。这个模式通过创建一个开放式的全文语料库,实现个性化的适应性语言学习过程。其核心思想是:教学内容和教学手段必须适应于学习者的学习需求,即,学什么和怎么教取决于谁在学。文中详细讨论了基于语料库的适应性学习模式的基本构架、实现方法和基本特征。 The most successful language teaching is characterized by individualization and adaptation, which is difficult to achieve in the classroom context. Computer-aided language learning has now become a useful tool to promote a learner-centred approach and enable the learning process to be adaptive. In developing a web-based online English education environment for the Chinese learners, the author proposed a corpus-based adaptive learning model (CBAL), which was developed on the basis of the theories and methods of corpus linguistics, second language acquisition and adaptive language testing. CBAL model aims to customize the learning tasks to the individual's need and motivation through the construction of an open-ended corpus, which provides a wide range of materials to meet the needs of students with different abilities. In the present paper, the basic framework, design methods and characteristics of the CBAL model will be discussed in detail.
