摘要
学科发展史是学科理智史和学科制度史的双重动态史。本文尝试从学科制度的视角分析社会心理学的学科发展历程。以之为出发点 ,作者认为 :跨学科社会心理学的式微 ,其主要原因是暂时的学科制度创新 ,受到既定正统的学科制度的挤压而丧失了其合法性 ;作为统一的美国社会心理学学科诉求的失败 ,源于其社会心理学的理智分裂和学科制度分裂之间的交互强化 ;社会心理学的主流历史话语的建构 ,则源于学科制度精英在学科制度中同时也是在学科理智发展中的符号霸权化过程 ;而欧洲社会心理学的发展壮大 ,则是欧洲社会心理学的理智诉求和学科制度建设之间良性互动的结果。文章的结论是 :学科制度视角在学科理智视角之外为学科进展提供了基本的分析框架、策略和工具。
The development of an academic discipline is a dual dynamic process, consisting of both intellectual and institutional factors. The paper attempts to make an analysis of the evolution of social psychology from this perspective. In America, social psychology failed to emerge as a unified discipline due to the mutual reinforcement of splits in both the intellectual and institutional realms. Meanwhile in Europe, the vigorous development of social psychology as a discipline was due to a benign interaction between the intellectual and institutional dimensions.
